Payment Plans
We offer flexible, interest-free in-house payment plans tailored to fit your budget. We accept all major payment methods, including all major credit cards — a convenience not every orthodontic office offers.
Insurance
As a courtesy to our patients, we file claims and bill your insurance directly, so you don't have to deal with paperwork or pay the full amount out of pocket while waiting on reimbursement.
A few important things to know about orthodontic insurance:
- Most orthodontic insurance plans provide a lifetime maximum benefit rather than a yearly allowance. This means your plan typically pays out a set amount toward orthodontic treatment one time, for life — it does not renew or reset each year the way many dental benefits do.
- Most plans also require a co-pay, and a 50% co-pay is the most common arrangement. In other words, insurance typically covers about half of your orthodontic treatment cost up to your plan's lifetime maximum, and you're responsible for the remaining portion.
- Some policies have an age restriction for orthodontic treatment. If you are an adult considering orthodontic treatment and have insurance, this is something to note!
- If you have dual insurance coverage, yes we will bill directly to your insurance — and it also means your out of pocket expense may be almost zero!
Because every insurance plan is different, we recommend bringing your insurance information to your consultation. Our team will verify your benefits, explain what your plan covers, and help you understand your estimated out-of-pocket cost before treatment begins.
Don't have orthodontic insurance, but have an HSA/FSA that you can use?
Yes — you can submit your orthodontic receipts to your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) for reimbursement, and we'll provide the documentation you need. In addition, we accept FSA/HSA cards as payment.
What happens if I switch insurance during treatment?
If your insurance changes mid-treatment, let us know right away. We'll update your billing information and help coordinate benefits between your old and new plans where possible.
Will my insurance cover 100% of my treatment?
It's uncommon for insurance to cover the full cost. Most plans cover around 50% of treatment up to a lifetime maximum amount, with the patient responsible for the rest. We'll give you a clear estimate before you start.
Putting It Together
Many patients combine their insurance benefit with one of our in-house payment plans, spreading the remaining cost into manageable monthly payments. We're happy to walk you through all your options and build a plan that works for your budget.
